i seen it on a video clip that its voluntary to pay income taxes and that we don’t have to pay it. And that theres no real documentation that enforces us to pay just the IRS agents that bully us to pay by inflicting thier own forces.

After I saw this movie "America: Freedom to Facism" I’m shocked at how many people pay their income taxes. There isn’t a friggin law on any books anywhere that says you have to. Plus it wasn’t ratified by the necessary states, income isn’t defined, it’s not apportioned or an excise tax, and the supreme court has even ruled against any taxes that aren’t apportioned or direct. Seriously, watch this movie if you don’t believe me. It’s always like the third most viewed movie on Google Video.

Here’s my Platform:

ENERGY: Drill everywhere in America where there might be oil. Even if it means right thru the nest of a spotted owl. The environmentalists can use THEIR OWN property for wildlife sanctuaries.

MILITARY: The American Armed Forces are for defending AMERICA. Immediate withdraw from Iraq. And Afghanistan. And Egypt. And Germany, Japan, Korea, Veit Nam, and all the other 140 some countries where American troops are stationed.

DEFENSE: Someone from your country attacks us? Turn them over within 24 hours, or your country is no longer eligible to share the planet with us, and will be erased.

WELFARE: Sorry. It’s gone. If you are truly needy, appeal to local charities. If you just have an aversion to working for a living, then choose: either get a job, or starve.

SOCIAL SECURITY: What you saved during your working life, that’s what you get to retire on. You don’t get to take your retirement money from the younger generation of workers.

BAIL-OUTS: Gone. No matter how big or how important you think your company is, if it goes bankrupt, it gets sold off in pieces, just like any other company that goes bankrupt.

INCOME TAXES: the IRS is gone. The tax code is an embarrassment. It will be replaced with a truly VOLUNTARY tax system, befitting of a free country. Each year, congress prepares a detailed, itemized report of what it spent. Using census data, the total amount spent is divided equally among all of the people living in America. Each household is then sent an invoice with how much was spent per-person. If they want congress to make the exact same expenditures next year, they send in the amount shown on the invoice, multiplied by the number of people in their household. If they want more spent on certain programs, they say which programs, and send in more money. If they want less spent on certain programs, they say which programs, and send in less money. How ever much money congress gets, THAT’S how much they can spend next year.

PROPERTY TAXES: Gone. Local governments are no longer allowed to play trailer-park manager, charging residents "lot rent" on property that the residents OWN.

BUSINESS TAXES: Gone. Hate to break this to you, but businesses don’t pay taxes now. They never have. They CAN’T. Only people pay taxes. When businesses are taxed, the tax becomes a cost of doing business, just like utilities, or payroll. It’s added in to the cost of the products or services they sell.

ESTATE TAXES: Gone. You’d think that grave robbing would be so repulsive that even politicians wouldn’t have to be told not to do it.

DRUG WAR: It’s over. ALL drugs are now legal, for consenting adults. Think certain drugs are bad? DON’T USE THEM. But keep your nose outta other people’s beezwax.

SEX: All sex is legal, between consenting adults. Don’t like gay marriage? Then DON’T MARRY A GAY PERSON. Don’t like prostitution? Then DON’T HIRE A HOOKER. But leave everybody else alone, to do what they want.

OATH OF OFFICE: All of these positions are 100% compatible with the US Constitution, which those elected to office are required to take an oath to uphold. Anyone who violates that oath is to be removed from office immediately, and tried for treason. Anyone who makes campaign promises to violate that oath, is no longer eligible to hold office. Anyone who votes for someone who has said they will violate the constitution, must be deported. For every American deported, one new legal immigrant can be sworn in.

Wow. Two answers so far that say "we’d go bankrupt"? HELLLOOOO. We ARE bankrupt! Know what ya gotta do when you’re bankrupt? QUIT SPENDING LIKE A DRUNKEN SAILOR.
Er, HELLO.
There was a time in this country when drugs WERE legal (What ingredient do you think Coca Cola was named after? I’ll give you a hint: Anybody could buy it, over the counter, in any drug store in America).
And there was also a time in this country when we got along just fine without ANY income tax, property tax, estate tax, or business tax.
Why do you people just assume that the gov’t has the right to confiscate your money, and tell you what to do?
Are you slaves? or were you born free?

I live in the state of California in Los Angeles County. Is there a tax calculator online? I don’t want to do my income taxes next year and find I owe money! I do not have the financial ability to hire an accountant to assist me. Thanks for your help!

Here’s a direct quote:

"The Tax Division’s mission is to enforce the nation’s tax laws fully, fairly, and consistently, through both criminal and civil litigation, in order to promote voluntary compliance with the tax laws, maintain public confidence in the integrity of the tax system, and promote the sound development of the law."

Notice that it says "promote voluntary compliance" with tax laws.

Last I checked, there was nothing "voluntary" about the income tax. Sure, we could get rid of it if a majority of Americans would refuse to elect politicians who oppose abolishing the income tax, but it is impossible for an individual to voluntarily choose not to pay income taxes without the government sending armed thugs to haul them off to a cage. If they resist, the government’s thugs will shoot them, possibly killing them.

Yet, the Department of (in)Justice claims that this system based on the barrel of a gun is "voluntary." Only an insane person or a government bureaucrat (I repeat myself) could actually believe that income taxes are "voluntary." Why doesn’t the government just stop falsely claiming that the income tax is "voluntary?"

Of course, thanks to government control of education, most people are not capable of critical thinking, so few people ever even notice the obvious lies which are all over the Department of (in)Justice web site.
