And my second job I am self employed. I usually come pretty close to 40 or more hours a week on my second job. What I am not sure about is I want to hold back enough Federal & State taxes so that I don’t end up paying at the end of the year, but I don’t want a large refund either. I am one who likes to have their money weekly. None of that refund stuff for me. I want my money now. My employer deducts Fed, state, local, medicare & social security so will I have to do that with my SE taxes as well or will I be pretty much covered? And I find many calculators but none where I can use both employer taxes and SE taxes? Any suggestions? Anyone know of any loopholes I can look into. I have 3 children and I take care of a disabled aunt as well.
Okay, to clarify this alittle more. I am both self employed and I work for a large firm. I know that when you work for someone else, your employer matches a portion of your tax deductions. When you are self employed you have to pay those yourself. I would like to be able to fix it so that my employer is paying my taxes and on my self employed job, I don’t have to pay as much taxes without oweing a lot at the end of the year. Is that alittle clearer?

What happens if Americans refused to work and protest 24/7 without any tax revenue going into our lovely government? Maybe that will get the politican’s attention? It is only a matter of time, people will revolt and say screw it, why even go to work anymore when Uncle same is on the take, enough is enough. Especially when our government is spending our taxpayer dollars bigtime on BS and unfairly taxing us without any regard for where our money is actually going…. Is Obama intentionally trying to bankrupt America and screw it up so bad that terrorists won’t even recognize the USA in months to come?

CLAIM MORE EXEMPTIONS for Fed tax., you get more money up front in your paychecks, and WE all have the choice NOT to pay anything in the end 2011. Tell the IRS, nope I am not paying nothing, come get me (all of us). Scumbag Harry Reid says taxes are voluntary anyways….

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7mRSI8yW…

HOW MUCH is enough??? If you take into consideration for all of the different taxes we pay, it is equivalent to 50% + of our incomes…. taking half from each and evry single person to fix the roads, to provide police and fire protection, etc. C’mon??? Our goverment got us working as slaves and you know it… the so-called super power needing to steal money from its people??? IT IS ALL ABOUT CONTROL…..

Do I have to claim a gift on my taxes

I’m not quite sure what to think of this situation, but it is bothering me. I have two stepdaughters age 15. They do not live with myself and their father. They live with their mother, who maybe allows us to see them once a year. My fiancee is like a deer in headlights when it comes to taking this woman to court for visitation. But I see how much it hurts him to not see his kids.

My problem is their lack of contact. They don’t call him unless they want money. As it stands, after the harlot rapes us with regards to child support she doesn’t spend on them and claiming them on her taxes which causes my fiancee to get hit heavily, he brings home half of what he makes. My paltry salary doesn’t add much, and we struggle just to get by as it is. But every time birthdays come around or Christmas, we send something. Not to mention if one calls needing money for something, we send it and an equal amount for the other.

But they can’t call just to say hi? It’s getting on my nerves, and I’m biting my tongue. I want to tell my mother-in-law, so she can call the harlot and give her a piece of both our minds. The woman who is my fiancee’s ex does not call my house because I informed her that if she could not act her age and stop hanging up every time I answered the phone I pay for, not to mention blocking her number, that she could not call here.

This summer, like countless times throughout the year, my fiancee’s daughers will be less than 60 miles away, instead of 250. Will we be able to see them? No! I’m angry about this situation, because I feel that if they can’t call once a week to tell their father what is going on their lives, we don’t need to be sacrificing money that is barely there to take care of their petty material wants. I feel that right now their silence is due to the fact that their birthday gifts are late. I guess we were supposed to not pay the rent. Their mother encourages this behavior, and I don’t get it. My father never gave me a dime, and all I wanted was his presence. So I’m having trouble understanding their unwillingness to call their dad or even return his calls or texts. Is love equal to money now? Are they not old enough to understand that sometimes their parents have responsibilities that make it so you can’t have the Beyonce perfume or red Jordans?? Dude!
I asked my fiancee to call them tonight and explain our situation to them, and that money does not equal love, that they will get their gifts when we can afford to give them. I told him that it angered me that they don’t call, and that I see one of his daugthers posting to facebook on her cell phone all the time. If he won’t do it I’ll make sure his mother will, and she won’t be as nice. They may not realize they’re being selfish, but that’s just because our youth today as a whole are and think it’s normal. My son won’t be raised that way, it’s abhorrent.

I’m wondering if I should claim this money because my dad actually used it to buy a car. I dont want to loose all the money I get back at the end of the year. And I have also been on unemployment since Sept. 15th. What do I do? and how much will it cost me? (NJ)
oh good, so I dont have to claim the ,000 at all? that is just great.
