voluntary tax deductions:

Question by crookedpolitician: So since the SIN tax on cigarettes is voluntary, do I get to write it off as a tax deduction?
Because I don’t remember volunteering to pay this tax! I smoke, I am addicted to nicotine, it is something that was not against the law when I started! I should not be forced to pay this ridiculous tax, and No quitting is not an option for me!

Obama and his Liberals (Marxists) will make you a perfect person even if they have to tax you into it. Do not resist! You will be an Obama robot.

    Stop smoking.

Quitting IS an option, you just refuse to take it.

we should all demand barry pays a high tax on his cigerettes. he is well above the high class. and yeah he quit. sure he did. that man has as many vises than most of us.

The choice in the cigarette SIN TAX is the choice to smoke. That is how they passed the law and will continue to tax until people simply refuse to smoke.

Tobacco sales helped in part build this country – I believe that this is no different then England taxing the colonists to death back in the day.

This is taxation without representation plain and simple. No matter if you are republican or democrat the people in office to not give a hoot what you think. Just call your representative or senator about an issue you disagree with and see how friendly the staff is towards your opinion.

I am an ex-smoker but believe that if someone wants to smoke they should be able to. The irony is that my wife still smokes and due to the obscene cost I am forced to encourage her to quite.
